Assistant Paratransit Operations Manager
$100,560.00 – $140,820.00 Annually

The purpose of this position is to manage and provide oversight and direction for one or more functional areas of the ADA paratransit service line and facilities. This is accomplished by monitoring the daily activities of the assigned functional area(s), resolving customer and employee issues, implementing performance measures and producing reports, tracking department stats and performance, rendered to ADA eligible clients. Incumbents in this position assist and serve as back-up to the Paratransit Operations Manager.

Salary: $71,652.00 – $87,096.00 Annually
Requirements
1. High school graduation or its equivalent;
2. One year of experience involving public contact work; and
3. Possession of a California driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
Other Requirements: Must be physically able to perform critical and important duties of the job including: hearing well enough to communicate in person/by telephone; seeing well enough to read small handwritten and computer-generated type; standing, walking, kneeling, bending for long periods of time throughout a shift; performing physical work requiring coordination; and manual dexterity to use hand/power tools and computer keyboards. Will be required to work overtime, holidays, and all weekends. Must be willing to wear uniform and required safety gear in the course of duty. Must be able to communicate effectively with staff and the public.
