El Concilio California’s 2026 Cinco de Mayo Multicultural Weekend Set to Draw Record Crowds — Presale Deals Now Available

Stockton, CA — By the time the gates open at the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds next spring, more than 60,000 people are expected to pass through for what has become one of the Central Valley’s most anticipated traditions: El Concilio California’s Cinco de Mayo Multicultural Weekend.

But for families and organizations planning to attend, the celebration has already begun.

El Concilio California has announced the early release of discounted presale Family Packs and exclusive Group Sales packages for the 2026 festival, giving the community a chance to secure the best value before the three-day celebration kicks off.

Now a signature Stockton event, Cinco de Mayo Multicultural Weekend has grown into a vibrant showcase of the region’s diversity — blending culture, entertainment, education, and family fun into one high-energy experience.

A Weekend Built for Everyone

The 2026 festival promises an expansive lineup designed to engage every generation.

Festivalgoers can expect the return of the popular Brass Ring Carnival, featuring thrilling rides and midway favorites, alongside the BAC-sponsored Kids’ Fun Zone packed with games and jumpers for younger attendees, Valdivia free concerts on the main stage Saturday and Sunday, plus a full paid all-day concert in the Grandstand from 3P to 11P on Sunday.

Families can also explore interactive attractions like the immigrant experience and a hands-on STEM Children’s Science Exhibit — continuing the festival’s commitment to blending cultural celebration with learning opportunities.

Car enthusiasts will enjoy the ever-popular lowrider and classic car show, while over 100 food vendors, artisan merchandise booths, and all-day live entertainment will fill the fairgrounds with color, flavor, and music. Evening Valdivia Concert performances will headline each night (concert admission sold separately).

Thanks to the generosity of community sponsors, general festival admission remains completely free to the public, with all-day parking available for $10 per vehicle.

El Concilio California hosts the event as part of its longstanding commitment to Stockton, San Joaquin County, and the greater Central Valley. The organization does not profit from the celebration; proceeds from food and Kids’ Fun Zone activities simply help offset production costs, ensuring the tradition remains accessible to all families.

Planning Ahead Pays Off

With attendance projected to reach record levels in 2026, organizers are encouraging families to plan early.

Presale Family Packs are now available in limited quantities, offering bundled savings on carnival rides and food options. Designed to make the weekend both memorable and affordable, the packages allow parents to secure entertainment and meals in advance — eliminating lines and maximizing fun.

For many returning families, presale has become the smartest way to experience the festival.

A Ready-Made Experience for Groups

The celebration isn’t just for individual families. Businesses, schools, churches, and nonprofit organizations are also invited to take advantage of exclusive group-rate packages.

Group Sales bundles include one-day free parking, an unlimited Brass Ring Carnival wristband, and a meal voucher — creating an easy, turnkey outing for employee appreciation events, youth programs, client engagement, or team-building experiences.

In a single weekend, organizations can offer culture, camaraderie, and community connection all in one place.

A Celebration That Reflects the Valley

More than just an event, Cinco de Mayo Multicultural Weekend reflects the spirit of the Central Valley itself. It brings generations together, supports local vendors and performers, and provides a space where culture and community thrive side by side.

Presale Family Packs and Group Sales packages are available now in limited quantities.

If early projections are any indication, Stockton’s biggest celebration of culture and community is poised to be even bigger, louder, and more unforgettable in 2026.
