Andrew Ysiano

As founder, publisher and Chief Executive Officer of Latino Times, Andrew Ysiano is a dynamic professional whose management expertise and innovative skills have established him as one of our country’s entrepreneurial success stories. A true visionary, Mr. Ysiano founded Latino Times in 2001 with the simple goal to provide a bilingual publication for Latinos that reflects their positive contributions in the local, State, and national community. Under his leadership, the enterprise has successfully grown to be the most recognized Bilingual Publication in the Central Valley. Latino Times has a readership of over 40,000. It is distributed free to over 450 drop-off locations, 4,000 are mailed and 12,000 copies are emailed throughout California.
He also is a partner in a Marketing Coalition firm in California
Mr. Ysiano’s stellar professional success is matched only by his personal passion and commitment to the Hispanic community as well as other social causes. In addition to his duties as Past Chairman of CALA, Citizens Against Lawsuit Abuse and coalition building for state initiatives, Mr. Ysiano is a Past YMCA board member as well as a member for the National Association of Hispanic Publishers and California Hispanic Publishers.
As a leader in the Hispanic community, Mr. Ysiano has received several distinctions for pioneering the growth and recognition of entrepreneurs throughout the region. His many accomplishments include, past president of the California Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, (CHCC), past president of the Stockton/San Joaquin County Mexican-American Chamber of Commerce, past chairman of the Regional I, United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (spanning 7 western states), past board member of the American Red Cross.
He has also served on the Greenlining Coalition & Latino Issues Forum and Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibilities
Judy Quintana

Judy Quintana, Vice President of Latino Times is a talented individual whose dynamic marketing strategies have benefited numerous companies. At Latino Times, her primary focus is to increase the community awareness about the publication and expand business throughout the region.
Ms. Quintana is committed to creating new partnerships through her marketing and sales expertise that will be mutually beneficial to Latino Times and its’ advertising partners.
Prior to Latino Times, Ms. Quintana lived in Gilroy where she was actively involved in many community organizations. She is past president of the Gilroy Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and past board member for the Tri-Coalition of Hispanic Chambers-South County, Gilroy Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau, Pacific Neighbors Inc/Sister Cities San Jose, Silicon Valley Neighborhood Housing Services, chairperson for the Gilroy Hispanic Cultural Festival and member of the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), to name a few.
Ms. Quintana’s current affiliations include, board member-Valley Mountain Regional Center and the Central Valley Asian-American Chamber of Commerce. She is an active member of the Latino Business Exchange, San Joaquin County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Greater Stockton Chamber of Commerce, San Joaquin Host Lions Club and is a volunteer in numerous community organizations in Central and Northern California.
Ms. Quintana’s many awards and distinctions include Gilroy Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Volunteer of the Year. She was honored with the highly prestigious Santa Clara County Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition and the Santa Clara County Human Relations Award of Special Merit for Outstanding Service to the Community in the Field of Human Relations and Human Rights.
Marco Moreno

Marco Moreno went into the ethnic media in April 1997 with El Sol Spanish Newspaper. Also in 2000 he was the founder editor for “El Informador del Valle” and in 2002 “La Voz Spanish Newspaper” both out of Stockton, CA. He is a winner of the 1999 New California Media Award for “The Best Editorial Writing”. Marco Moreno is an immigrant from Mexico with a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture with a major in Agribusiness and an undergraduate student on Philosophy and Spanish Language.
Mr. Moreno is a current member of Hispanic Leadership Council and Latino Emergency Committee. Past board member for Catholic Charities Stockton’s Dioceses. He is actively involved in many community organizations.
Mary Ann Gomez
DIRECTOR OF MARKETING

Mary Ann Gomez serves as the Director of Marketing and is also a Contributing Writer and the occasional photographer for Latino Times. Ms. Gomez grew up in the Stockton Delta, attended Tracy High School and went on to earn her B.A. in Communications from the University of the Pacific. She started her career working for nationally known public relations firms – Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide and Fleishman-Hillard and was a partner in a Latina-owned public relations firm in Sacramento.
Ms. Gomez then pursued Corporate America. She was the Diverse Markets Manager for Coors Brewing Company then the Marketing Manager for McDonald’s Corporation in the Sacramento region. Both positions gave her the opportunity to establish and maintain connections with people from the Pacific Northwest, West and Southern States. While at McDonald’s she went back to school and earned her MBA from St. Mary’s College in Moraga.
Mary Ann Gomez is the President/CEO of Gomez Communications Group, a public relations, public affairs and marketing firm she established in 2001. She has developed outreach programs for the pharmaceutical industry, marketing plans for a national Hispanic media company, managed bilingual media relations efforts and public affairs programs on issues to inform and mobilize leaders to support issues that effect Latino businesses and families throughout the United States.
Ms. Gomez has developed a talent for translating and conveying technical and broad strategical program material into digestible and easy-to-understand bytes of information. She has cultivated a penchant for sizing-up and evaluating the interests of targeted audiences and for, consequently, easily identifying the communication points that would resonate with the interests of the audiences.
Mary Ann Gomez is also well-known for working and communicating well with different types of groups, from the most rudimentary to those well-integrated and defined.
Rhashad Pittman
CONTRIBUTING WRITER

Rhashad Pittman is a contributing writer to the Latino Times. He covers a range of issues for the publication, from the local foreclosure crisis to local Latino business initiatives to feature stories on Hispanic professionals.
Mr. Pittman is a former reporter at The Record, Stockton’s major daily newspaper. While based in the publication’s Manteca bureau, he covered city council meetings, crime, trials and a variety of other stories. He also has written for a number of other publications, including the Los Angeles Times, San Jose Mercury News and the Central Valley Business Journal.
He has earned a master’s degree in journalism from University of California, Berkeley and a bachelor’s degree in Communication from University of Missouri, St. Louis. Mr. Pittman currently is the media relations coordinator for University of the Pacific’s Stockton campus. As one of two media relations staff members, he helps promote the university through local and regional media coverage.
Kirstie Boyle

Ms. Boyle was born and raised in upstate New Jersey and moved to Lodi, California in 1981. She attended High School there and continued her education at San Joaquin Delta College where she majored in Psychology and English.
She started her sales career in 1995 in retail where she went into management. In 2004 Ms. Boyle went into the outside sales field for Michael Lynch, CPA and then continued with the Penny Saver. Ms Boyle comes to Latino Times as a talented sales professional with a true entrepreneurial spirit. She is an avid outside sports person who enjoy riding her bike, boating, hiking or dirt bike riding.
Angelina Lozano

Angelina has enjoyed capturing memories on film and in photographs for over 20 years. Angelina’s delight in photography originated from her father, a professional photographer for the US Department of Justice, who taught her how to develop black and white film. Her attention to detail and
focus on high quality images has generated a close working relationship with
Professional Film Processing Labs for over 17 years.
Angelina has photographed thousands of events that were featured in news stories, business brochures and family albums throughout California.
Angelina leveraged her innate visual talents while working at COX Cable as a
Producer. Her amazing ability to showcase the heart of her subjects has
secured awards in several photography contests.
She finds great joy in capturing priceless moments in time for families, business professionals, and news media. “I enjoy creating a precious gift of special memories that will be shared for generations,” says Angelina.
